Role Description

Joining Bath Finance Society is a fantastic way to explore career paths in finance, build skills, and meet like-minded people. This entry-level role is open to all year groups and degree backgrounds, with first-years especially encouraged.
Private Equity Analyst
We are recruiting 12 Private Equity Analysts: four for Europe, four for Asia and four for the Americas.
As a Private Equity Analyst, you will join one of our three regional teams and learn how investment firms identify, analyse and create value within companies. Working under a Regional Head and the Head of Private Equity, you will contribute to company research, investment analysis, valuation and practical LBO projects.

Responsibilities

  • Researching companies, industries and regional private equity markets
  • Identifying and analysing potential investment opportunities
  • Evaluating business models, competitive positioning and growth prospects
  • Analysing financial performance and key investment risks
  • Contributing to company valuations and introductory LBO models
  • Identifying potential value-creation opportunities
  • Preparing concise investment presentations and recommendations
  • Participating in training sessions, workshops and team projects

Who We’re Looking For

A great role for someone analytical, curious and interested in investing, company strategy and financial analysis.
No previous private equity experience is required, but candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in finance, a willingness to learn and the ability to work reliably within a team.
The role is open to students from all year groups and degree backgrounds.
