About Bath Finance Society
Finance shouldn’t be a closed network.
The right opportunity shouldn’t depend on who you already know, where you come from, or whether you arrived at university already understanding how the industry works. Bath Finance Society exists to bring ambitious students closer to finance, connecting them with the people, knowledge and experiences that shape the industry.
Through conversations with leading professionals, technical learning and hands-on experience across investment banking, private equity and asset management, we help students go beyond the classroom and understand finance in practice. With more than 2,000 members, BFS brings together students, alumni and industry professionals in a community built around learning, curiosity and opportunity.

BFS brings together the experiences students need to explore opportunities in finance. Our Speaker Series connects members directly with professionals across banking, asset management, consulting and beyond. Our workshops turn that exposure into practical skills, from financial modelling to interview and application preparation. And through networking events and socials, BFS becomes more than a place to develop your path, it becomes a community you want to be part of.

Workshops
Our workshops are designed to build practical, opportunity-focused skills at every stage of the recruitment process. Sessions range from CV and cover letter clinics to psychometric test and assessment centre preparation.
